At Cardiff Bathroom Centre we offer a planning and design service with the aid of our excellent 3D CAD system. It is our intention to create the bathroom of your dreams and if you wish to take advantage of this free service, we ask that when you visit the Showroom you provide us with the following information and dimensions:

SHAPE: Sketch the shape of the room (usually a rectangle). Provide measurements for each wall and the ceiling height. For speed and accuracy we would ask for all dimensions to be in millimetres if possible, but we can convert imperial measurements.

DOOR: Measure the width of the door, including the architrave and measure the position off one of the side walls so that it can be accurately placed.

WINDOW: Measure the width and height of the window(s), to include the height of the sill from the floor. Again, measure the position off one of the side walls.

OTHER INFORMATION: Please check the position of the WC drain outlet and it’s direction (into the floor, straight out, right or left) and whether it can be moved. Also, we will need to know if any of the ceilings are sloping.

Whilst our planning and design service is free, we do not print out the plans or allow them to be copied in any way, unless a complete order is placed at that time. However, if for your convenience the plans are required prior to the purchase being made, a fee of £200 is chargeable. This charge is refundable, only if and when a complete order based on the design is placed.

All plans are created in good faith with the dimensions that you provide and therefore we cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies or on-site changes in this respect.

Our staff take a good deal of time and care to create new designs, so for these reasons we do not create plans while you wait. Usually within a few days you will be advised that the design is ready for your perusal and at this time we can guide you through the design, often make adjustments on the spot if necessary.
